Dr. Hopewell received his Bachelor of Science from Baylor University, having gone on to graduate from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington DC in 1982. Perhaps his favorite aspect of practicing dentistry is the chance to meet a wide-array of people, pass on a little helpful knowledge, and see the immediate reward in his patient’s smiles for a “job well done”.

Dr. Hopewell is married with two energetic children, as well as his dog, Cooper. He enjoys all forms of winter sports, particularly snow-skiing. During the summer he willfully takes care of the yard and takes in the occasional Mariner’s game. Having moved to the Northwest in 1991, he is proud to call Washington his home!

Anna is a local Edmonds resident who received her dental hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College. She was voted Most Outstanding Graduating Student by the Washington State Dental Hygiene Association in 2000. She is known for gentle periodontal care and making dentistry a fun and relaxing experience. In her free time, Anna enjoys volunteering for Smile Mobile and sealant / screening programs for school age children.

Anna grew up in Shoreline, has a wonderful husband named Patrick, and is also a veteran hair dresser at a local salon. She works with her church youth group and loves people. She is excited to be a part of Dr. Hopewell's dental team!

Mary has been our lead assistant since 1998. She was practically raised in a dental office (her father was a Dentist), she has always known this was the path she would take. If ever there were a question, she’s the woman to turn to. Mary may very well know everything there is to know about the ins and outs of the clinical area. She enjoys knowing that she is an integral part of helping patients have healthier teeth and knowing that she is part of a team that ensures excellent dentistry. Always the team-player, she exemplifies the meaning of team-work!
